She is currently a D4 professor, Director of Research at the PRPGI of the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Maranhão. She has a degree in Agronomy from the State University of Maranhão (2003), a master's degree in Agroecology from the State University of Maranhão (2006) and a PhD in BIODIVERSITY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY - BIONORTE NETWORK from the Federal University of Amazonas (2017). She has experience in Chemistry and Agroecology, with an emphasis on Food Chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: plant extractivism, biomolecules, chemistry teaching, environmental education, environmental impacts, traditional knowledge, Creole seeds and agroecology.
